We are absolutely delighted to announce that the inaugural Good Friday 10k will take place on April 10th (11am) at Chelmsford Sports and Athletics Centre.
We’ll be using the same course as our November race which is always so popular.
This will be an ideal race for those that have a spring Marathon planned. So if you’re doing the Brighton marathon , London marathon or Halstead marathon, why not use this race as a sharpener and test your fitness. There’s nothing like doing a marathon with a 10K PB under your belt.
Entry fees are £15 for those affiliated to England Athletics and £17 for those who are not.
Please Note: Entrants must be 15 years of age or over on 10th April 2020
Zach Bridgeland Photography is the events official photographer and images taken during the race will be available to downloaded free of charge and without watermarks shortly after the event has finished. Click here to view.

We're making packaging disappear
Chelmsford AC are teaming up with Notpla Ltd in a bid to help reduce single use plastic pollution.
Used for the first time in this years London Marathon Notpla's water pods proved to be extremely popular and considered a huge success in becoming another small step towards eradicating plastic pollution.
We're following suit for this years Chelmsford 10K and doing our bit to make scenes like these at thing of the past.
Notpla are revolutionising the use of natural materials such as seaweed, to create packaging solutions with low environmental impact. This means creating materials that breakdown quickly once disposed of, as well as ensuring a low carbon footprint.

Your race number must be securely fastened to the front of your vest/T-shirt so it is easily visible on the course and in the finish area. Please complete the details on the rear of the number; this is very important, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.
