Race Postponed

We are absolutely delighted to announce that the inaugural Good Friday 10k will take place on April 10th (11am) at Chelmsford Sports and Athletics Centre.

We’ll be using the same course as our November race which is always so popular.
This will be an ideal race for those that have a spring Marathon planned. So if you’re doing the Brighton marathon , London marathon or Halstead marathon, why not use this race as a sharpener and test your fitness. There’s nothing like doing a marathon with a 10K PB under your belt.

Entry fees are £15 for those affiliated to England Athletics and £17 for those who are not.
Please Note: Entrants must be 15 years of age or over on 10th April 2020

Zach Bridgeland Photography is the events official photographer and images taken during the race will be available to downloaded free of charge and without watermarks shortly after the event has finished. Click here to view.

Timing and Race Numbers
The race will be chip timed and your race number and timing chip will be available for collection on the morning of the race from race HQ at Melbourne Athletics Stadium from 9 am. Please allow yourself plenty of time to collect your number and chip ahead of the race, bearing in mind the race start is not at the stadium.
Your race number must be securely fastened to the front of your vest/T-shirt so it is easily visible on the course and in the finish area. Please complete the details on the rear of the number; this is very important, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.
Parking
There is Free parking at Melbourne Athletics Stadium for approximately 200 vehicles including accessible spaces. Unless otherwise stated there are no parking restrictions in the area but we would urge everyone to be considerate to the local residents.
Please follow the instructions of the car park marshals at all times and refrain from exiting from the car park during the event to ensure the safety of runners still finishing the race.
Please car share or use public transport, where possible. Please do not park on the course. The nearest train station is Chelmsford, which is about two miles from the stadium.
